Iryna Vereshchuk: Ukrainians who have either lost or left their homes should spend winter in heated shelters

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said on the air of the national telethon that almost 1 million Ukrainians had lost their homes due to russian aggression.

Currently, modular towns are being built at a rapid pace, however, it is difficult to provide such quantity of people with the aforementioned housing before the beginning of the autumn-winter period. At the same time, internally displaced persons (IDPs) must meet the winter in insulated shelters suitable for living in the cold season.

“The heating season will be difficult, but we will get through it! Reconstruction, heating of the premises is underway. We are doing everything it takes to ensure that Ukrainians who have either lost or left their homes spend the winter in heated shelters,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.
