Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida began working remotely on Monday, a day after testing positive for Covid-19.

Government spokesman Hirokazu Matsuno said Kishida has mild symptoms and is fulfilling most of his schedule, including virtual participation in the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD).
