Russia’s largest national flag, covering 1,000 square metres, was unfurled on Monday at Moscow’s Victory Museum.

In addition, 3,000 volunteers gathered to participate in the celebrations marking National Flag Day.

They stood in a 165-metre line forming the longest living flag in Russia.

National Flag Day was established by a presidential decree in 1994.
