The star will be kicking off his tour in Taunton, where he’ll be hitting the Somerset County Cricket Club.

After that, he is making a pilgrimage to Blenheim Palace to perform at the venue’s Nocturne Live Concert Series.

Lionel will be playing at Blenheim Palace for two consecutive nights, beginning on Wednesday, June 13, 2023.

Blenheim Palace is a particularly spectacular venue, as it is the only non-royal, non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace.

He recently spoke out about returning to the extraordinary venue. He said: “I’m really looking forward to heading to Blenheim Palace next summer. The UK crowds are some of the best in the world and I can’t wait to get back over there to see you all!”

Lionel will then be travelling to Broadlands, Romsey, to finish up his UK tour.

Although the 73-year-old is only playing a handful of dates in the country, he will surely be whipping out his biggest hits, including Dancing on the Ceiling, All Night Long, Hello and We Are The World.

In recent years he played Glastonbury Festival and recently spoke candidly about how much he loved doing it.

He explained: “Glastonbury was probably one of the greatest moments. It was supposed to rain, but the sun was shining — beautiful. And then about 140,000 people show up of all makes and colours and ages. And they know every word. I didn’t sing ‘Hello.’ I didn’t sing ‘Dancing on the Ceiling.’ I kept trying to fight the audience. ‘Would you like to let me in for a moment?’ And every time I stopped singing, they got louder. It was amazing.”
