Project presentation: Accommodation for Ukrainians, Pineto and Archi Municipality
400 refugees are transferred from hotels to widely separated reception facilities (apartments) to stay in the area.

PINETO. “Accoglienza ucraini Comune di Pineto e Arci” (Municipality of Pineto and Arci) is the name of a project aimed at ensuring the continuity of reception in local third sector structures of Ukrainian citizens fleeing the war, who until now have found hospitality in city hotels and accommodation facilities. The initiative was presented this morning at a press conference at Villa Filiani in Pineto, in the presence of, among others, Mayor Robert Verrocchio, Mauro Casingini, Director of the Regional Agency for Civil Protection of the Abruzzo Region, Filippo Miraglia, ARCI national head of “Immigration, Asylum and Anti-Racism” and Giorgio Giannella, president of ARCI Teramo.
The Ukrainian side was represented by the president of the Cultural Center of Ukraine, Vladislav Baginsky. The national leadership of ARCI provided the opportunity to expand the large-scale reception of Ukrainian refugees in the municipality of Pineto to 400 places.
