Camp du Domaine : A Family Story

Camp du Domaine is a large, independent 5-star family campsite since 1950. With its 45 hectares of land, the campsite once hosted market gardening for the largest French market in Paris, before being developed into a campsite in the 50s by the Defour family, still the owner to this day.  

Whether you are staying in a caravan, motorhome or tent, or whether you prefer the comfort of a modern bungalow, you will inevitably find the ideal location at camp du Domaine. 

Located on the Mediterranean coast, in Bormes les Mimosas (30km from Saint Tropez), the 5-star campsite offers a large number of spacious pitches, equipped with water and electricity as such as waste water disposal. Some pitches are located on the front line facing the sea, others on the heights with a view overlooking the sea, and finally some are nestled in the heart of lush vegetation. You will find a straw hut on each pitch proving you with shade where ever your pitch is located.  

Le Camp du Domaine also offers a wide range of fully equipped bungalows that can accommodate 2 to 8 people. Camp du Domaine is open to customers from April 1st to October 31st, as well as all of its services and shops.  You can leave your car parked because all shops are within walking distance.  

At the Tennis Bar, you can eat throughout the day, and even spend your snack break there while encouraging your favourite team thanks to the giant screen retransmitting the major international sports competitions. 

At Camp du Domaine, what every you would like to eat is on site.  You will be able to find good homemade pizzas that can be delivered directly to your pitch or to your bungalow or nice Mediterranean gastronomy at the restaurant “Le Domaine”. 

Shopping will be easy! Thanks to our well-stocked supermarket of 200 sq, you will find everything you need without having to queue in big supermarkets. The bazar will help you out with all kinds of items dedicated to the camping’s world.  

Treat yourself to a moment of sweetness in the beauty area. You will find a hairdressing salon there to always be on top during your holidays. Discover the treatments of our beautician and relax with our spa practitioner who provides massages with oriental notes in a zen and soothing atmosphere.  

In low season, meet your neighbours around a petanque tournament or a free excursion to the main points of interest of the Côte d’Azur. 

In high season, find your favourite activity among the many proposals such as free yoga, pilates or stretching classes on the beach. If you are more dynamic, go for zumba!

Many tournaments are organized: football, handball, tennis, volleyball… From June to September, improve your skills in tennis with the help of a tennis teacher who provides lessons. Several children’s clubs welcome children from 4 to 17 years old. 

The campsite is also a good starting point for many hiking and cycling tours. Ride a bike or electric bike along the old railway line along the coast and go to Saint Tropez to spend the day there. If you are more of a challenge lover, explore the many trails on the surrounding hills ! 

During your stay, do not miss the medieval village of Bormes about 5km from the campsite. Stroll through the atypical alleys and let yourself be charmed by the place. 

Less than 10 minutes on foot, reach the port of Bormes les Mimosas (la Favière) where many shops, restaurants and entertainment await you all season through! Don’t miss the local market every Saturday morning during summer season! 

If water is your thing, you’ve come to the right place! a few meters from the campsite, rent a paddle or a canoe, organize a diving or windsurfing course, rent a jet ski and cut through the sea.
