The Welsh authorities’s Climate Change Minister Julie James stated: “The investment is a good thing, although we would argue they should have done it a considerable time ago. The investment of course is welcome in the steelworks, but it’s a drop in the ocean for what they need for the proper decarbonisation of the steelworks.”
