If President Joe Biden is concerned by the impeachment inquiry ordered by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), he’s not letting it present.

The president was requested what he thought concerning the effort as he arrived again on the White House from a weekend in Delaware on Sunday.

He smiled, then merely supplied three phrases: “Lots of luck!”

McCarthy opened the inquiry final week, claiming GOP lawmakers have “uncovered serious and credible allegations” towards Biden.

But if that proof exists, it hasn’t been made public ― and even some Republican lawmakers are skeptical.

Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.), a staunch conservative and member of the right-wing Freedom Caucus, stated final week that impeachment proceedings ought to start solely when there’s proof of excessive crimes and misdemeanors.

“That doesn’t exist right now,” he stated on MSNBC.

The White House slammed McCarthy.

“He vowed to hold a vote to open impeachment, now he flip-flopped because he doesn’t have support,” White House spokesman Ian Sams stated final week. “This is extreme politics at its worst.”
