61 Casino brands officially pass under the Intermarché flag | EUROtoday

LThe struggling distribution group Casino has, as anticipated, “completed the sale of the first wave” of 61 shops to the Les Mousquetaires/Intermarché group, the two teams made official on Monday, citing an “enterprise value of 209 million euros including service stations” for this switch.

The two meals distribution specialists, respectively the seventh and third gamers in the sector, agreed in May on a sale of 119 shops in two waves involving 4,000 workers, with an optionally available third of round sixty shops. The operation permits Casino to scale back its debt and Intermarché to extend its market share.
