Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Chairman Martin Gruenberg took accountability and apologized for the company’s office tradition in a video to employees Friday, whereas indicating he doesn’t plan to bow to strain from Republican senators to resign.
“As chairman, I am ultimately responsible for the actions of our agency, both good and bad,” Gruenberg mentioned in his second video message to employees this week. “I bear responsibility for setting the tone for our culture.”
