Aveyron is without doubt one of the largest departments in France, with an immense variety of territories: giant causses, historic excessive plateaus and dizzying gorges. At 342 meters above the void, the Millau viaduct is the third highest street bridge on the planet and a contemporary image of Aveyron. Its conventional emblem is Roquefort.
