An Italian tribunal on Monday convicted 207 individuals and sentenced them to a mixed 2,100 years in jail on expenses associated to their membership in Italy’s ‘Ndrangheta organised crime syndicate, one of many world’s strongest, intensive and rich drug-trafficking teams. The mafia group, which is tied to some 150 Calabrian households, has a close to monopoly on the European cocaine commerce, bringing in €50 billion yearly in keeping with some estimates, FRANCE 24’s Seema Gupta stated.
