UPDATE: Fortnite’s new Rocket Racing in-game expertise is out now on all platforms. The new Rocket Racing sport mode launches with 26 tracks and 12-person multiplayer. An arcade driving experience developed by Psyonix, Rocket Racing has a December 8 release date on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Android. The new Rocket Racing arcade game is scheduled to go live with the next shop reset at 3pm GMT UK time.
The launch of Rocket Racing was preceded by the release of a new trailer during last night’s Game Awards showcase.
As you can see from the video below, Rocket Racing will feature over-the-top driving action.
Courses will seemingly feature rifts, which fire obstacles at the player in the middle of a race.
The windy, colourful courses also contain shortcuts and alternative routes, not to mention anti-grav sections for driving upside down.
Indeed, according to the official description, players can drift, fly and boost through courses.
