The Council of Ministers accredited this Tuesday, on the proposal of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, to increase to all staff the potential for having fun with breastfeeding depart cumulatively, as much as 28 days. This is among the measures included within the royal decree-law that reforms the unemployment profit, as reported by the second vp and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, within the press convention after the Council of Ministers.

This new proper is launched into the laws via the reform of article 37.4 of the Workers’ Statute. Until now, breastfeeding depart might be loved cumulatively and never half an hour a day, when it was included within the collective settlement that protected employees. With this rule, all employees will now have this risk, together with public staff. For Díaz, by relying on collective agreements, “unequal and discriminatory situations occurred,” which is now corrected.
