France’s Health Minister Aurelien Rousseau resigned as the federal government of President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday sought to quell a celebration revolt over the passing of powerful new immigration laws backed by the far proper. Following 18 months of wrangling over one of many flagship reforms of Macron’s second time period, the French parliament handed the controversial laws endorsed by Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) Tuesday.
