Parliament definitively adopted the immigration invoice on Tuesday, December 19, with 349 deputies voting for and 186 towards, after a good vote by the Senate earlier within the night, a victorious epilogue for almost all however carrying severe political penalties.

Deputies and senators agreed earlier within the day on a typical model of the textual content, after lengthy and troublesome debates.

Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin welcomed this vote, obtained “without the votes of RN deputies”. “The immigration text is definitively voted on.
