Putin has been left humiliated after Ukrainian troops downed over 30 drones in an air assault. Russia struck central and southern Ukraine yesterday in an air assault which noticed 46 drones launched in a single day, the Ukrainian Air Force has claimed.

They had been reportedly launched from Balaklava in Crimea and Russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk in two waves, quarter-hour aside. The assault lasted seven hours.

A video has been shared on social media of a army ship in Odesa port firing from the water into the sky, attempting to hit the drones.

The Air Force managed to shoot 32 of them down utilizing plane, surface-to-air missiles, and cellular hearth teams.

“Most of the drones that failed to be shot down attacked the frontline areas, in particular Kherson Oblast.

“Several other UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) crashed without causing any damage,” the Air Force wrote.

Air defenses had been lively in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, and Kirovohrad areas.

Fifteen of the 42 drones had been downed within the south with the remainder downed elsewhere.

Falling wreckage is believed to have killed two civilians, with Odesa Oblast regional chief Oleh Kiper saying: “Four victims were discovered in the suburbs of Odesa, including a 17-year-old teenager.

“One person died on the spot, and another man, who was taken to hospital in serious condition, died. The teenager remains in hospital, the woman and the man are being treated on an outpatient basis.”
