Convicted fraudster Gerald Ronson was made a CBE for his philanthropy and good deeds within the Jewish group.

The tycoon, 84, was one of many “Guinness Four” behind a multi-million share-trading scandal on the drinks firm within the Nineteen Eighties.

He served a one-year jail time period and was fined £5million.

But since then he has develop into recognized for elevating thousands and thousands of kilos for charities, establishing the Jewish Community Security Trust and turning into vice-president of kid safety charity the NSPCC.

The father-of-four acquired an OBE in 2012, declaring himself “privileged and honoured”.
