At least 14 Eurostar trains have been cancelled on Saturday after flooding in tunnels in southern England, stranding 1000’s of passengers simply forward of New Year’s Eve.

The tunnels close to Ebbsfleet International Station in Kent have been inundated because the Met Office issued climate warnings for rain, snow and ice throughout massive components of the nation.

“Flooding between Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras International means that all lines are blocked. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled,” the prepare operator Southeastern mentioned on its web site.

“Disruption is expected until the end of the day.”

It mentioned flooding had affected each railway tunnels close to Ebbsfleet, that means each tunnels are closed.

“This means no trains can run between London St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International,” Southeastern added.
