Hello, it is Ingeborg Remmers and he or she’s in Seelterlound. Hello, my title is Ingeborg Remmers and I reside in Saterland. Saterland is a municipality in Lower Saxony between Cloppenburg and Emden and consists of 4 cities and a number of other farming communities. What’s particular is the language, which sadly is not even spoken by 2,000 folks anymore: Sater Frisian, my mom tongue. My favourite phrase is “uursainewainewai”, it means “elsewhere” and could be very melodic in pronunciation. We haven’t got our personal phrases for a lot of trendy phrases, however the smartphone is named Händi in Sater Frisian, and there are loads of “ä” in our language.
