What higher place than the central Work Café Santander on Paseo de Recoletos (Madrid), a collaborative area open to everybody, to host the discussion board Building the longer term: the drive for collaboration and entrepreneurship in Spain, organized by Santander and EL PAÍS through the afternoon of Tuesday, January 16. The occasion goals to be a day of reflection and a gathering level through which consultants from numerous fields – public administration, monetary sector, corporations and startups, entrepreneurial ecosystems or traders – analyze these two ideas, collaboration and entrepreneurship, as keys in our growth as a rustic.

The first to take the stage might be Ángel Rivera, CEO of España Santander, to be interviewed by EL PAÍS journalist specialised in banking Hugo Gutiérrez. Two spherical tables will observe, each moderated by Gutiérrez. The second spherical desk, Finance to spice up, might be attended by Maite Cordón, director of Santander Growth; Hugo Arévalo, co-founder and government president of the enterprise college TheEnergy Business School, with a disruptive studying technique that mixes 15-minute lessons with webinars in actual time; and Ignacio Puig, common companion from the enterprise capital agency Inveready.

According to the primary map of incubators and accelerators in Spain, revealed by Social Innovation Monitor along with the Spanish Startup Association, 215 incubators and accelerators function in our nation, of which 26 are firms and 23 are universities. “The services most offered in these spaces are management and training support, the provision of work spaces and access to financing,” the analysis concludes.
