A two-year-old who was reported lacking was present in a forest in Oberellenbach, Hesse, after nearly seven hours of looking and darkness fell.

According to his father, the kid escaped throughout a stroll within the forest in Oberellenbach. “The man looked around for a moment and when he looked back at his son, he had disappeared,” stated a police spokesman in Fulda.

It wasn't till round 11:30 p.m. that the boy's household might breathe a sigh of aid: rescue staff had found him close to a rustic highway between Sterkelshausen and the Beenhausen junction (Hersfeld-Rotenburg district). After a medical examination, the boy was handed over to his dad and mom, the police stated. He was barely hypothermic. No additional particulars about his situation have been launched.
