A bunch on Polish state tv has apologised on air for homophobic propaganda aired by state media.

During the eight years of rule by the nationwide conservative Law and Justice social gathering, state media promoted the social gathering’s line that LGBTQ+ individuals have been threats to Polish households.

The strategy has modified beneath a brand new centrist authorities led by Donald Tusk, who moved rapidly to eject the Law and Justice supporters from positions of energy over state media.

Two LGBTQ+ activists have been invited on air on Sunday night (11 February) when the state TVP host Wojciech Szeląg apologised to them for the rhetoric directed at their group.

Bart Staszewski, one of many two activists invited on, later shared the apology on social media.
