On February 21, 1944, 23 communist resistance fighters, most of them overseas and Jewish, have been executed by the German military at Mont Valérien, close to Paris. They belong to the “Manouchian group”, named after one in all their quantity, Missak Manouchian. 80 years to the day after his dying by the bullets of the Nazi occupiers, this hero of the Resistance and his spouse Mélinée entered the Pantheon.
