Yesterday, Sony introduced that The Beatles are getting 4 film biopics, one every for John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Sam Mendes, who directed Daniel Craig’s James Bond motion pictures Skyfall and Spectre, is helming all 4 movies from every band member’s perspective.

The Oscar-winning filmmaker stated: “I’m honoured to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies

The Beatles biopics, which are the first time the estates of the group have granted full life story and music rights to scripted film, will all be released in 2027.

Now Sir Ringo himself has finally spoken out on the projects on his Instagram.

The 83-year-old drummer posted a picture of The Beatles lying on a yellow surface dressed in black and looking up at the camera in a cross shape.

Sir Ringo enthused: “Have you heard the news? Oh boy. We all support the Sam Mendes movie project. Yes, indeed. peace and love.”

Meanwhile, Sir Paul hasn’t commented however merely put a hyperlink in his Stories to the press launch on the official Beatles web site.
