A homicide investigation has been launched after a 10-year-old lady was discovered lifeless by police in Sandwell.

A 33-year-old lady has been arrested on suspicion of homicide after officers found the kid with accidents at an deal with in Rowley Regis on Monday.

The lady was confirmed lifeless on the property in Robin Close at round 12.10pm in what police known as a “shocking and distressing” incident.

The 33-year-old lady, who is known to be recognized to the kid, has been taken into custody for questioning.

West Midlands Police stated it’s within the early levels of its investigation. A cordon has been put in place on the scene whereas inquiries proceed.

Detective Inspector Dan Jarratt stated: “A young girl has tragically lost her life and our thoughts are with her loved ones and all those impacted by this terrible passing.

“A suspect has been arrested and detectives are totally investigating the circumstances round this unhappy demise.”
