Police have swarmed a Greater Manchester city centre after receiving stories of a stabbing.

Police and paramedics at the moment stay on the scene in Bury city centre after three individuals had been rushed to hospital with stab wounds.

In an announcement, a GMP spokesperson mentioned: “Greater Manchester Police are currently responding to an incident on Murray Road, Bury. The extent of the injuries sustained by those involved are unclear at this time, but officers are at the scene to conduct further enquiries. Anyone with information that may help is asked to call 101 quoting incident 1338 of 11/03/2024.”

A spokesperson for NWAS mentioned: “NWAS responded to a police incident following a call at 12.06. Three patients have been taken to hospital.”

Later, Greater Manchester Police launched a second assertion saying three individuals had been taken to hospital with non-threatening accidents. One individual has since been launched with minor cuts as police proceed their enquiries.
