A girl has been discovered after reportedly spending three days trapped inside a transport container in Florida, police stated.

Marlene Lopez, 52, was reported lacking final Monday after she disappeared from her residence on Lucerne Drive in Cocoa, based on the native police division.

A co-worker alerted the police after she failed to select up her son from college.

A search started for Ms Lopez with investigators trying into her “known locations,” interviewing relations and issuing a missing-person bulletin.

Nearly 72 hours later, police had been notified that the girl had been discovered after a person heard banging coming from a locked transport container in a enterprise park space at 2005 N. Cocoa Blvd.

The particular person unlocked the container and located Ms Lopez dehydrated however not injured. She was taken to a close-by hospital for analysis final Thursday.

Ms Lopez stated that she didn’t know the way she ended up within the container which is lower than half a mile from her residence, police reported.

Tyler Sonnenberg, who owns the transport container, instructed native TV station WKMG that he noticed Ms Lopez strolling across the space on Monday.
