AEmployer President Rainer Dulger is looking for stricter guidelines on residents' advantages for foreigners. “Anyone who has never worked in Germany cannot receive exactly as much money as someone who has worked here for 15 years and paid into social security,” stated the President of the Confederation of German Employers’ Associations (BDA) to WELT AM SONNTAG. The fee card is a primary step in the precise course.

“We need immigration into our employment systems, not into our social systems,” stated the BDA boss. “We have to attract immigrants who want to work here and not just benefit from our social benefits. We currently have 5.6 million citizens' benefit recipients, a significant proportion of whom do not come from Germany. And we have a total of almost four million people in the citizen’s benefit system who can work – that’s too high.”

In order for the urgently wanted employees to reach within the firms, the main target should be far more on activating and inserting individuals in work, demanded the employer president.
