The drawer Enrique Ventura, recognized for the comedian collection 'Grouids within the desert', died this Monday at 78 years outdatedas confirmed by the Evolution-Cmics publishing home, from the Panini label, on the X social community.

Ventura was a part of the group of cartoonists.Ventura & Nieto', alongside together with his cousin Miguel Angel Nieto. They each labored for the satirical journal 'The Papus' and later in 'Thursday', through which they revealed their collection 'Grouids within the desert' (1979), starring Groucho Marx. In 1995, Miguel ngel Nieto died all of the sudden and Enrique Ventura was in command of the scripts for the collection till 2013.

Furthermore, Ventura was the creator of drawings reminiscent of 'They are going like loopy‘, ‘Maremagnum‘ o ‘Indecent TV hysterias', created for 'Thursday‘.

Among the awards he has received, the Grand Prix of the Barcelona Comic Fair (1997) and Caganer of the Year (2002) stand out.
