The jury for this primary choice is made up of Anne-Cécile Bras, journalist at RFI and presenter of the present “C’est pas du vent”; Guillaume Grallet, journalist at Le Point and columnist for Tech 24 on France 24; Jeanne Richard, journalist for Environmental Questions; Aphrodice Mutangana, director of partnerships at Digital Africa; Arona Diedhiou, analysis director on the Institute of Research for Development (IRD); Olivia Hervy, Head of Ecosystem at Viva Technology; Olivier Prentout, advertising and marketing director at Ayoba; Philippe Miquel, Managing Director CFAO Infrastructure – B2B sector; Karim Sy, founding father of the Jokkolabs affiliation; and at last Armand Sofack, founder and CEO of Mobility Cloud.

Launched by RFI and France 24 and its companions CFAO Infrastructure, Digital Africa, IRD, Ayoba, Viva Technology, the Club Abidjan Ville Durable, AFD, Digital Energy Facility (funded by the European Union and carried out by AFD ), Ademe and Ecobank. The eighth version of the Africa App Challenge goals to reward digital improvements to enhance inexperienced power in Africa.
