Russian ‘double-tap’ strike kills 5 in Kharkiv | EUROtoday

At least 5 individuals have been killed and 12 others injured in a Russian “double-tap” strike in Kharkiv, the regional governor has mentioned.

Three rescue staff had been amongst these killed when Russia struck a multi-storey constructing that had already been broken in an earlier drone strike, in what is named a “double-tap” assault, Oleh Syniehubov added.

Six individuals had been wounded on the location, whereas one other multi-storey constructing was hit by a drone, killing a 69-year-old lady, native officers reported. The remaining accidents had been brought on by missile strikes and shelling elsewhere in within the war-torn area, with 15 Russian drones recorded in complete, Mr Syniehubov mentioned.

“Each manifestation of Russian terror once again proves that the country-terrorist deserves only one thing — a tribunal,” Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine’ human rights chief, revealed on Telegram in response to the assault.
