The Getty Museum and the French Consulate of Los Angeles have entered a cooperative settlement to advertise exhibitions and programming associated to French tradition.

This cultural trade fosters the understanding of artwork, and mutual understanding throughout societies. The settlement was executed on April 2n/a by French Consul General in Los Angeles, Julie Duhaut-Bedos, and Getty President and CEO Katherine E. Fleming throughout a ceremony on the French Residence in Beverly Hills. Laurent Bili, ambassador of France to the United States notes that, “This agreement with the Getty acknowledges the important role that museums play in our French American conversation. Here in Los Angeles, it gives us a framework and a vision for our cooperation.”
