A younger boy has died after stepping into problem in a lodge swimming pool at a birthday celebration.

The unnamed boy,7, was attending the get together in southeast county Clare, Ireland when he reportedly skilled difficulties.

He was rushed from the Leisure Centre on the Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre to a Limerick hospital on Saturday afternoon.
