Two free horses have been seen operating round central London, one in every of which seemed to be coated in blood.

The animals, sporting saddles and bridles, had been seen operating within the street close to Aldwych on Wednesday morning.

Pictures and movies of the horses had been shared on social media, one in every of which confirmed a black 4×4 with blue lights following the animals.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman stated: “We are aware of a number of horses on the loose in central London.

“We are working with colleagues in the Army to locate them.”

Buckingham Palace Rd closed

Buckingham Palace Road has been closed after the incident and a cordon stays in place, with a blue tarpaulin tent put in place across the injured soldier.
