The climate this final weekend of April will probably be marked by an Atlantic gale, It will convey rain to many locations in Spain, snowfall above 900 meters and a winter ambiance in areas of the northern peninsula, in addition to lower than 25 levels in many of the south.

The areas with the least probability of rain will be the south of Aragón, the Valencian Community, Murcia and eastern Andaluca, while the most abundant rainfall will occur in the north of Galicia, Asturias, points of the Central System and, especially, in the area around the Pyrenees.

The snow level will be between 900 to 1,000 meters in Galicia, Asturias and the north of Castilla y León; about 1,400 meters in the Central System and from 1,600 to 1,800 in the Pyrenees. “The snowfall will probably be heavy within the mountains,” added Del Campo.

The rains will become more occasional and dispersed as the afternoon progresses, although Sunday will be a unpleasant day due to the wind, which will be noticeable in large areas and will blow with very strong gusts in coastal areas and the mountains.

As for the temperatures, daytime temperatures will decrease in almost the entire country, except the eastern Cantabrian Sea, the Mediterranean and the Balearic Islands, where they will increase. There will be 20 degrees on the Basque coast and up to 23 degrees in the Mediterranean.

“Except in these areas, in the remainder will probably be a chilly day for the season, particularly within the northwest of the peninsula, with most temperatures between 5 and 10 levels decrease than anticipated for this time of yr.
