Police officers have slammed an ‘unacceptable’ driver who did not put on a seatbelt and let a one-year-old youngster lay on the passenger’s lap.

Cops say they have been ready at a crimson mild in Blackburn, Lancs,. when a automobile, whose driver and passenger wasn’t carrying seatbelts, pulled up subsequent to them.

They then noticed a one-year-old woman was mendacity throughout the again seat passenger’s lap and wasn’t in her automobile seat – ‘all as a result of she cried.’

A Lancashire Road Police spokesperson stated the drivers actions have been ‘unacceptable’ and stated the pair have been summoned to court docket.
