These are very easy to make – you don’t must roll out the dough or use particular cutters. Try one together with your favorite cuppa.


Prep time: quarter-hour, plus cooling time

Cook time: 10 minutes

  • 190g self-raising flour, plus further for dusting
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 30g chilly unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp grated orange zest
  • 200g fat-free vanilla Greek yoghurt
  • 10g white chocolate chips
  • 10g dried cranberries, chopped into smaller items
  • a little bit milk, to glaze

For the icing

  • 25g icing sugar
  • a little bit recent orange juice


  1. Place the flour in a bowl. Add the baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and a pinch of salt, and blend effectively to mix.
  2. Grate within the butter and, utilizing your fingers, work it into the flour so you’ve gotten what seems like breadcrumbs.
  3. Add the orange zest and yoghurt and fold with a spatula till every thing is effectively mixed, then add the chocolate chips and cranberries.

  8. Add the scones, brush the tops with a little bit milk and air fry for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and go away to chill on a wire rack.
  10. While the scones are cooling, make the icing. Mix the icing sugar with recent orange juice, including ½ tbsp juice from the orange at a time till it’s a drizzle icing – not too thick, not too skinny.
  11. Drizzle the icing excessive of the scones and serve.
