A lady was stabbed to loss of life in north London in the present day (May 9). Police have been referred to as to Burnt Oak Broadway, near the junction of Limesdale Gardens, in Edgware round 11.50am in the present day to reviews of an incident.

A lady, in her 60s, was handled for stab accidents, however sadly regardless of efforts of emergency companies, she died on the scene.

Police say they’re working to tell her subsequent of kin. A criminal offense scene stays in place on the location.

A 22-year-old man has since been arrested within the Colindale space on suspicion of homicide. He stays in custody at a north London police station.

Jess Bloom, 24, who was working at a hair salon reverse when the stabbing passed off advised The Times: “Burnt Oak is at all times a tough space however I’ve lived right here for 17 years and have by no means seen somebody do this in broad daylight.

“The salon was busy, there were children here so I stayed in the salon with the kids. The police and ambulance took 20 minutes to come.”

Following the arrest, Detective Superintendent Tony Bellis from the North West Command Unit, liable for policing Edgware, mentioned the arrest of the person was a ‘important growth’

He added: “The investigation remains in its early stages, and we continue to work to establish why this incident took place, including whether the person responsible was known to the woman who died. I would urge people to refrain from speculating about the circumstances while this work is ongoing.

“A family has been left devastated by this shocking attack and my thoughts are with them at this unimaginabley difficult time.”
