Instagram and Facebook down for some customers as hundreds report points | UK | News | EUROtoday

Thousands of customers throughout the globe are reporting points with Instagram and Facebook.

According to web site DownDetector, round 1,400 folks reported points with Instagram at round 2.30am BST on Wednesday.

Meanwhile an additional 100 folks mentioned there was a difficulty with the Facebook app itself.

Instagram customers report being met with a web page saying: “Something went wrong.

“There’s a difficulty and the web page couldn’t be loaded.”

Internet observers NetBlocks reports: “Note: Meta platforms together with Instagram and Facebook are at present experiencing worldwide outages; incident not associated to country-level web disruptions or filtering.”

Users on X have also reported issues with the apps.

One said: “Anybody Else Instagram Down ? Mine isn’t working in any respect.”

Another added: “Is Instagram down or do I simply go on it an excessive amount of?”
