Armed police have stormed a Manchester Metropolitan University constructing this afternoon. Six armed response groups had been referred to as to the Grosvenor East constructing, off Oxford Road in Manchester on Friday, May 17.

One scholar reported seeing a “fake sword”. Officers carrying weapons rushed contained in the constructing, though some seem to have left the scene, the MEN experiences.

Footage from the scene reveals folks watching on from the junction of Oxford Road and Grosvenor Street this afternoon.
