Former Labour chief Jeremy Corbyn has introduced he’ll stand as an unbiased candidate, marking a contemporary disaster for Labour chief Keir Starmer.

The former celebration chief introduced his bid to run for the Islington North seat on X, previously Twitter, this morning.

“I am standing as an independent candidate for the people of Islington North,” he mentioned. “As your MP, I will continue to be an independent voice for equality, democracy and peace.
