Paula Vennells will face questions from subpostmasters in her ultimate look on the Post Office inquiry.

The former chief govt, who held the highest function between 2012 and 2019, has already given proof for 2 days on her function within the Horizon scandal.

More than 900 subpostmasters had been wrongfully prosecuted after bugs had been incorrectly recorded on their department accounts.

Yesterday the inquiry heard how Mark Davies, former PR chief on the Post Office, suggested Ms Vennells that reviewing too many previous Horizon circumstances may make the difficulty “front page news”.
