At least seven new child infants died after a horrific blaze broke out at a hospital on Saturday night time.

One toddler was positioned on a ventilator, and 5 extra have been left injured as tall flames engulfed the New Born Baby Care hospital in east Delhi’s Vivek Vihar, India.

Police officers and firefighters braved the inferno to rescue 12 infants from the higher flooring within the three-storey constructing.

Terrifying footage reveals the hearth devouring the entire hospital whereas firefighters attempt to extinguish it.

The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) deployed 9 hearth vehicles to the realm, and ultimately managed to quash the blaze.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Surendra Choudhary mentioned, as reported by the Hindustan Times: “All the 12 newborn babies were rescued from the hospital with the help of other people and shifted to East Delhi Advance NICU Hospital in Vivek Vihar for treatment. “Meanwhile, hearth tenders reached the spot and the hearth was managed. Out of those infants, six have been declared introduced useless. All seven useless our bodies have been additional shifted to GTB Hospital for postmortem.”
