The cellphone video from Sylt was the subject of Markus Lanz's ZDF discuss present. The moderator reminds folks of the media's accountability and engages in a debate with writer Gilda Sahebi about racism in Germany.
SSince final Thursday, there was discuss a cellphone video through which younger adults shouted a racist slogan to the tune of the celebration hit “L'amour toujours” by Gigi D'Agostino. The moderator felt compelled to elucidate himself. He additionally emphasised how “repulsive” he discovered the video. “You see it and think: you can't be serious!” He was shocked by the context and that these had been such younger folks. And: “I also find the term Nazi difficult in this context. They are not Nazis! They are racists, or people with racist prejudices.”
Sahebi then agreed to this.
