As France enters the house stretch of the European marketing campaign – for which the vote will happen on Sunday June 9 –, “ Point “ offers you a series in five episodes dedicated to the “Mystifiers of Europe”. Many candidates and political leaders willingly send signals to their national clientele unrelated to European issues. They pull the European cover for themselves when the atmosphere is favorable, denounce directives – on ecology or immigration – when Brussels has nothing to do with it, resort to “fake news” or vote differently in Strasbourg and in Paris.
