A right-wing politician was stabbed within the German metropolis of Mannheim on Tuesday night time in a “shocking” assault, in response to experiences.

Heinrich Koch, native council candidate for Alternative for Germany (AfD) was attacked with a knife after he confronted somebody pulling posters down within the metropolis centre.

Alternative for Germany state chairman Markus Frohnmaier stated of the stabbing: “We are shocked and dismayed.”

The incident comes simply days after a 29-year-old police officer was killed in one other stabbing throughout an anti-Islam demonstration within the metropolis.

The 25-year-old knifeman, named as Sulaiman Ataee, rampaged by means of an anti-Islam rally held by Pax Europa on Friday final week.
