“I’m just outside the ministry of the interior in central Paris and we are expecting a midday announcement of the voter turnout across the country,” stated FRANCE24 journalist Liza Kaminov. “Of course, the figure will change tonight but if we look back at five years ago, during the 2019 European Parliament elections, the overall voter turnout in France was 50.12%.
