Morris, a member of the Four Tops, says the surprising incident occurred in April 2023, based on the lawsuit. The singer was solely let loose of his restraints after he confirmed a nurse a video of him performing on the Grammys, based on the lawsuit.

Hospital employees then provided the singer a $25 present card to a neighborhood grocery store as “an apology for the dehumanization and discrimination he faced,” the lawsuit reads. Morris is in search of $75,000 in damages from the defendants.
