BAccording to the Hezbollah militia, a high-ranking commander of the Iranian-backed radical Islamic group was killed in an Israeli assault in southern Lebanon on Tuesday. Hezbollah named the commander as Sami Abdallah, often known as Abu Taleb. Israel has not but confirmed the assault or the alleged sufferer.

Lebanese army sources mentioned that the person killed was Hezbollah's most essential goal for the reason that starting of the Gaza warfare, which was sparked by the unconventional Islamist Hamas assault on Israel. According to them, the Israeli assault hit a location about 15 kilometers from the border with Israel.

Since the beginning of the warfare between Israel and Hamas within the Gaza Strip on October 7, there was nearly each day mutual shelling between Israel and Hezbollah fighters.
